Skoden Martial Arts is a small, independent business run by local Indigenous, Professional Mixed Martial Artist, Marlan Hall. Skoden has been established since May 2022, in Penticton, BC. Marlan has mixed his two passions together, MMA and business, to achieve his goals of creating something fun and active for the whole community.

I started Martial Arts in 2008. My first MMA fight was when I was 15 years old, and since then I have been the Ultimate Cage Wars Amateur featherweight champion in Omak Washington. I have been the BFL Amateur featherweight champion In Battlefield Fight League out of Vancouver BC. I had my first Professional MMA fight November 17th of 2019. I have been a Muay Thai instructor since November 2018 and have been a coach to many MMA fighters on their journey. I am now the owner of Skoden Martial Arts where I hope I can present people with a fun and safe place to train or a place you can train to start your own competing in Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu or MMA.
